I’m Allie and I started The New Normal because parenting is hard! I also realized that people go to marriage counseling before tying the knot, hire financial advisors to plan for retirement, and enlist interior decorators to pick paint colors, however, when it comes to parenting, a lot of us are just winging it. The New Normal relies on my profession and personal experiences to help parents develop individualized plans to help tackle their biggest struggles/worries.
Parenthood changes your life overnight, and I’m here to help you prepare for that transition. I started as a Pediatric Nurse for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, after receiving my Bachelor's in Nursing from the University of Miami (FL), honed my consultative skills as the New Parent Support Program Coordinator for US Army Europe in Baumholder, Germany. Next, I returned to the states to pursue a Master's in Nursing from Georgia State. I’m now a practicing Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Intown Pediatrics and am a mother to Hazel (5) and Maya (3). Brandon is my husband and parenting partner.
